Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Here at the Site, we value the rights of intellectual property just as we expect others to respect our rights. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can send us a notice to remove infringing content through our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against infringement claims.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- You must provide a signature of the copyright owner or a representative authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identify the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
- Provide enough information for us to locate and remove the infringing material, including the URL of the page.
- Give your contact information for us to reach out to you.
- State that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.
- Confirm that the information given is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Section 17 USC §512(f) allows for civil penalties against anyone who knowingly misrepresents information in an infringement notification. Any takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page.
We may share the identity of the complainant with the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you agree that your identity may be disclosed.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If your material has been taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have it restored. The notification must include your signature, the description of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake.
Send the counter notice through our Contact page, preferably by email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We are committed to addressing copyright infringement. We keep track of DMCA notices and take action against repeat offenders by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We have the right to update this policy for handling DMCA claims at any time. We recommend checking back regularly for any changes.
